Support Solutions, based in Rockville, Maryland, provides a wide range of services in engineering, system integration, ship repair, and readiness and sustainment for military platforms. Its Technology Solutions & Services (TSS) unit addresses the full life-cycle needs of U.S. Department of Defense and federal civilian customers with capabilities in systems engineering and technical assistance, system and subsystem integration, operations, and maintenance. We are currently supporting the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in a variety of endeavors of national importance including aviation safety.

BAE Systems is looking for an Engineer to provide support for the SETA II contract working for the FAA National Air Space (NAS) Requirements and Planning Organization.

The duties include: Conduct Analysis and Provide Recommendations to Enhance ATO System Engineering Services, Capabilities and Associated Products.
People: better organize the staff with clearly defined roles and responsibilities with linkages to ATO-P processes.
Processes: document standard processes that integrate effectively across ATO-P. Identify and eliminate redundancies across ATO.
Tools: implement new tools and make better use of the current resources to ensure that all stakeholders can efficiently perform tracking, tracing, configuration management and analyses.
Documentation: develop a common understanding of documentation requirements (e.g., format, content) for each type of technology and systems engineering phase.
Communication: Develop communication plans, processes, and media to convey and support any accepted initiates to its intended audience.

Must have the following:
- A Bachelors Degree in engineering or a related degree
- 5 years of professional experience in system engineering and requirements management.

Prefer:
- Experience with the Microsoft Office and Microsoft Visio
- Experience with programming in Visual Basic
- Experience developing macros and queries in Microsoft Access and Excel
