Secure Alert, a Sandy based international leader in GPS offender monitoring for public safety agencies worldwide, is seeking a legal assistant or paralegal with strong administrative skills to work under the direction of our President.This position will have the dual responsibilities of providing legal review of contracts, conducting legal research and other legal affairs, as well as providing high-level administrative support to thePresident and other Sr. Managers by performing a variety of administrative and support responsibilities.
Specific responsibilities will include executive assistance in document preparation, formatting and creating statistical and textual presentations, recordkeeping, correspondence and legal review and preparation of contracts, public corporation legal affairs, and assistance with the RFP bidding process. Additional responsibilities would include managing the executive calendar, arranging and preparing for meetings, conference calls and other appointments as necessary.
Candidates should have a strong command of administrative processing tools including the full MS office suite; Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook and other common desktop tools. Legal background preferred in a contract or business law environment and experience with the RFP process and government contracting would be ideal. .
