This continually expanding Bakersfield based company has an opening for a Technical Sales Representative. This company offers specialty chemical treatment programs worldwide for water, waste water, oil production, food processing, mining and other industries.

As a Technical Sales Representative, you are expected to handle all job responsibilities with a high degree of independence. This requires a tremendous level of motivation and dedication. Willingness to travel as needed to satisfy customer needs is essential. The two primary objectives of this position are to maintain established accounts and to cultivate new customer accounts.

Requirements:
Technical Sales Representatives will have a minimum of a 4-year college degree in a scientific or engineering field.

Degree in Chemical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry or Biology is preferred.

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in one or more of the following industries: water, waste water, oil production, food processing or mining.

Must be a critical thinker - Have a logical, scientific approach to problem solving.

Team Player - Must have the ability to offer your expertise to other company employees and ask for their expertise when needed.
