REWARDING OPPORTUNITY WITH COMMUNITY SAFETY NET

Welcome to Community Safety Net! Thank you for enquiring about ourProject Coordinator- Account Representativeposition. The following is a description of the company and the position advertised, followed by a series ofFrequently Asked Questionsfor you to review.

COMPANY AND POSITION DESCRIPTION

AtCommunity Safety Net(CSN) our mission is to âProtect kids forLIFEâ. Itâs about making a positive and lasting difference in the lives of children and their families with our unique and effective educational safety materials. We have been helping protect children for over two decades. In that time, weâve reached millions of children in communities across North America with important, relevant information about safety.

For children, it means safety education year after year, ensuring that important safety initiatives are always being renewed. For parents and caregivers, it means ongoing help and support in keeping their children safe. The community itself benefits as community groups, business leaders, educators, and parents unite for a common good: childrenâs safety.

We have 5 distinct safety resources: Drug Safety, Personal Safety, Fire Safety & Junior Fire Safety and Rural Safety. Each resource is comprehensive, interactive, family-focused, compatible with other programs, easy to read and easy to teach. Each one features a spiral-bound safety book, interactive DVD, web games, posters and guides. These resources are made available free-of-charge to one local community organization when they agree to distribute the books to the targeted children. It is our Project Coordinatorâs responsibility to secure the necessary financial support for these resources from the communityâs business partners.

Here is what happens:

When a local community organization (Police, Fire, EMS, Hospital, Legion, or Lions Club etcâ) agrees to distribute our safety books and DVDs to a target group of children:

  • We then send our Project Coordinator to that community to meet with the local organization, who then gives our representative a letter verifying that they are commitment to distribute these books to the kids.
  • After the meeting the Project Coordinator begins visiting the communityâs businesses and Service Clubs to secure financial support. Typically, the Project Coordinator works from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM daily, making an average of 24 face-to-face presentations.
  • Employing our highly effective 60-second scripted presentation; the Project Coordinator presents the verification letter, opens the book, describes the features and benefits then gives the business an opportunity to support the safety initiative financially.
  • The investment is $15.00 per child. As soon as the business indicates how many children they will support, the Project Coordinator issues them a receipt and presents them with our attractive âWe Care About Our Kidsâ poster & sticker to display. As well, the supporter will receive lines of recognition in each of the communityâs safety books.
  • After the Project Coordinator has visited with all the local businesses all the relevant paperwork is completed and sent to Home Office.
  • We customize each book for that particular community and ship them to the local organization who then presents the safety materials to the kids. The last page in the book is an invitation for the child and their parent(s) to write a letter to "Mr. Computer" about how the resources helped them. Every year the child who writes the best letter wins a computer.

Home office establishes a continuous schedule of community projects in a specific region for the Project Coordinator, so that the Project Coordinator moves seamlessly from one community to the next, securing financial support from businesses and building fruitful partnerships with community organizations.

    Compensation

Our Project Coordinators achieve tremendous satisfaction from the positive contribution they are making to help build and strengthen "community safety nets" to improve the well being of children and families. They are also rewarded financially for their hard work. A Project Coordinatorâs earnings range from $50,000 to $100,000 depending on whether they choose to work part or full time.

    Opportunity Knocks

Community Safety Net is acutely aware of the many potential dangers children face today, such as Internet dangers, strangers, the drug culture and rural machinery. No one has all the answers, but we know that our resources will help kids make smart choices for life when used intelligently and with parental involvement. For the successful candidate we offer a winning combination of dynamic safety resources, excellent training, effective sales tools and ongoing technical support. This opportunity will tap into an existing reservoir of goodwill from businesses and organizations that truly want to help kids and families in their respective communities. Our Project Coordinator establishes lasting partnerships with Police, Fire and Service Club organizations throughout their assigned territory.

So if you are an honest, mature, positive, personable, fit, organized, hard-working, innovative, competitive and goal-oriented person who earnestly wants to help communities, thenplease take a few minutes to read our list ofFrequently Asked Questionson the following page:
