Senior Systems Engineer

Description:
*This position is a DIRECT HIRE position located in Spokane, WA. Candidates interested in this position must be willing to relocate to Spokane.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
The qualified candidate will provide direct support to our clients by performing engineering tasks in a Microsoft environment. This position works with a team of engineers to deploy traditional, hosted, and managed solutions to our customer base.
Significant proficiency is required in concept of operations development, system design and review, requirements definition, system transition planning, and supporting customer defined system integration tasks.

Requirements:
Responsibilities Include:

*Onsite and/or remote installation, configuration, analysis, repair, and support

*Perform systems engineering activities in all phases of a project to include: discovery, design, build, test, and deploy

*Participate in the Statements of Work preparation process to accurately define the scope of the project

*Interface with various customers at the technical level and propose viable solutions in real time during customer meetings

*Effectively identify, prioritize, and translate business goals/objectives into information technology strategies/solutions

*Work with customers to identify high-level business requirements

*Monitor project resources, set priorities, and provide project status reporting

Qualifications/Necessary Skills:

*5 years experience in a Professional Services or IT Consulting environment

*Strong knowledge of MS Windows Server and Desktop Architecture, TCP/IP networking, and Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and MS Exchange

*Experience with Citrix, SAN technologies, and VMware are required

*Certifications such as an MCSE or commensurate experience would be advantageous

*Excellent communications, interpersonal and customer support skills.

*Ability to work in a high energy, team environment.

Educational Requirements:

*BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline

*5 - 7 years directly related experience.
