Oracle Technical Product Support Specialist
Description:
Volt's client in Longmont has the following 6-9 month contract assignment immediately available.
Provide customer technical support for Oracle products. Provide support to infrastructure services; troubleshoot and resolve common and escalated service requests; respond to pages in a timely manner during assigned shift; make sensitive customer impacting decisions based on available information; lead team(s) in absence of supervisor; establish familiarity with all departmental procedures; evaluate customer operations and recommend development of new product features, ensuring continuous quality and customer service; assist in all phases of new product development, testing, and implementation.
Staff Assistance - Provide assistance to assigned co-workers, providing support and answering questions as necessary, ensuring functions are efficiently performed and paperwork is processed in a quality-oriented manner, adhering to corporate and departmental policies and procedures; provide direction to assigned staff, assisting with initial orientation to the department and task completion, as requested; as necessary, provide departmental support in problem resolution, ensuring issues are resolved in an accurate, timely, and professional manner; assist staff in striving to ensure highest level of quality, responsive service possible is provided; may be required to support supervisor in responding to inquires and conducting research and analysis.
Technical Problem Resolution - Research and resolve basic and more difficult problems escalating to appropriate departmental staff any issues that may adversely impact system; provide a single point of contact for departmental staff to ensure system issues are resolved by following problem from beginning to final resolution; continuously strive to provide accurate and timely evaluation of problems and recommend alternative solutions to supervisor; strive to enhance the relationship with department and internal staff ensuring the highest quality, responsive service possible is provided.
Requirements:
â 1 â 3 years Oracle Applications (EBS) experience
â Module experience with several of the following modules:
- Finance
- Manufacturing
- Projects
- Order Management
â Demonstrate basic troubleshooting skills in EBS
â Discoverer experience
â Basic PL/SQL knowledge
â Oracle Workflow experience
â Experience using a help desk system
â Basic system administration skills
