We are currently seeking a Construction Inspector to work in Hendry County on a construction project. You will provide construction support which will include the following:



- Reviewing and responding to shop drawing submittals

- Requesting for Information, Clarifications, Proposals, and Change Orders

- Reviewing Contractor Value Engineering proposals and submittals

- Assisting with review and reconciliation of construction schedules

- Scheduling updates and contractor payments

- Witnessing testing and review test results for conformance with technical specification

- Providing quality control material testing and test analysis and interpretation of results for conformance with the technical specifications

- Assisting with verification of project completion milestones and contract closeout/commissioning



Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree.

- 4 years direct relevant experience with infrastructure construction inspection and materials sampling and testing.

- Knowledge
of the construction concepts, practices, and procedures.

- Must be computer literate (knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel and other computer applications.)

Must possess good interpersonal skills, maintain professional candor at all times.

- Excellent oral and written communication skills and time management skills.
